Dwelling in Bushfire Flame Zone

LOCATION

100 Lakeside Drive, Conjola Park

Allen Price was commissioned to prepare a development application for a new dwelling in Conjola Park, following the destruction of the previous structure during the 2019/20 Black Summer Fires.

Our work involved close collaboration with the client, architect, and bushfire consultant to ensure that the proposed dwelling met all Building Assessment Level (BAL) flame zone requirements. The new design features an innovative architectural approach, including a distinctive blade treatment that serves as a protective shield against bushfire threats. The development was approved by Shoalhaven Council in 2024.
