Following initial refusal of a Development Application for a residential flat building project at Mollymook, Cowman Stoddart was engaged to provide town planning advice to improve compliance with the relevant controls of the Shoalhaven Local Environmental Plan 2014 and Development Control Plan.
Key issues with this application involved a modification application which sought approval for amendments to accommodate fire and building construction requirements. Cowman Stoddart was then engaged to provide expert town planning advice in subsequent proceedings before the Land & Environment Court for an amended proposal which subsequently obtained approval by the Land & Environment Court.
