
Allen Price was commissioned to town planning advice and civil engineering design for a development application for a 24 unit shop-top housing project in Ulladulla. The development features a four-storey structure designed in alignment with the State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing) 2021.
Our scope of work included working closely with the client – a local community housing provider, architect, and engineers to ensure the proposed design satisfactorily addressed all relevant environmental considerations for the site. Key issues for the project included non-compliance with statutory height controls, view impacts, car parking, urban design, solar access and landscape design.

To comply with the landscaped area requirements of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing) 2021 a clause 4.6 Variation was required. The development was approved in mid 2023 and will set a new standard for affordable housing in Ulladulla.
