Allen Price was engaged to prepare a Development Application for alterations and additions to an existing heritage-listed site in Kiama. These proposed changes aimed to enhance building functionality and elevate the overall hotel experience for guests while preserving the heritage character of the site.

The project involved collaboration with the client, heritage consultant, and working with the local council to address visual amenity concerns and preserving the site’s heritage character. The Development Application, which was approved in 2023, allowed the construction of all-weather access connecting the hotel reception to the restaurant, upgrades to bar seating, alfresco area, and storeroom.
