Stephen Richardson is a Principal Planner at Allen Price in Nowra, bringing over 36 years of experience in both local government and private consultancy. As a Registered Planner PLUS EIA and a certified NSW Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP), Stephen is well-versed in managing complex development applications across a diverse range of projects.
With extensive expertise in state-significant industrial projects—such as major initiatives associated with the Shoalhaven Starches site in Nowra—Stephen also handles applications for tourism, residential, and subdivision developments. His work includes preparing planning proposals for rezoning and serving as an expert witness in the Land & Environment Court.
Having lived in Shoalhaven on the NSW South Coast for more than 30 years, Stephen has contributed to projects throughout the Illawarra-Shoalhaven, Far South Coast, Wingecarribee, and Goulburn regions.
Outside of work, Stephen is actively involved in surf lifesaving, serving as a Patrol Captain and Life Member of the Nowra-Culburra Surf Life Saving Club. He has received the National Service Medal for his dedication to surf lifesaving. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, gardening, and prospecting.
